Let’s Build My World is designed to work without an account, advertising or tracking. This policy explains what the app uses and what remains under your control.

The short version

We do not operate a user database for the app and we do not sell, rent or use your travel information for advertising. Your record is stored on your device unless you deliberately export or share it.

1. Information kept on your device

The app can store profiles, visited places, trip dates and date precision, notes, transport details, travel companions, preferences and imported travel records. This information is saved locally on your device and in the app's private shared container so its widgets can display your progress.

We do not receive this information on a Let's Build My World server. No account is required to use the app.

2. Photos and Photo Discovery

If you choose Photo Discovery, the app asks for access to the photos you select or to your photo library, depending on the permission you grant. It examines available date and location metadata on your device to group possible visits for your review.

Photo analysis and grouping happen on your device. The app does not upload your photographs. A suggested place is only added to your travel record when you confirm it.

3. Location

Location access is optional and is requested only when you use a feature such as finding your current country. The result is used to suggest a place; it is not continuously tracked, used for advertising or sent to us.

Maps are presented using Apple's mapping services. Normal requests made to Apple by iOS are handled under Apple's own privacy terms.

4. Purchases

My World+ purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment-card details. The app uses StoreKit information supplied by Apple to check whether premium access is active and to restore purchases.

5. Exports, backups and sharing

You can create backups, profile files, images, videos, documents or other exports. These leave the app only when you choose to save or share them. Once sent to another app, person or service, their handling is governed by that destination.

6. Analytics, diagnostics and tracking

The app contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDK and we do not run our own behavioural analytics. Apple may provide developers with diagnostic information if you have chosen to share diagnostics in your device settings; Apple controls that collection.

7. Retention and deletion

Your local record remains until you edit it, use the in-app delete-all-data option or remove the app. Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to normal iOS backup behaviour. Files you exported or shared must be deleted from their saved destination separately.

8. Children

The app is not directed specifically at children and does not create user accounts or knowingly collect personal information from children on our servers.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to brian@leary.cloud.
