Quick help
The things people ask most
Import from Been
Open You, choose Import from Been and select the export file. The app previews what it found and merges matching places so existing visits are not duplicated.
Add places quickly
Use Quick add to tap through countries and places without entering dates or notes. You can add those details later from the visit.
Track US states
Open Places, then US States. Tap a state directly on the map to add or remove it. Search accepts state names, abbreviations and US ZIP codes, and Washington, DC is listed separately.
Use flexible dates
A visit can use an exact day, month and year, year only or no date. Choose the precision you remember—the app will not invent a more exact date.
Discover places in photos
Photo Discovery groups possible visits from on-device photo metadata. Review the groups, select the useful suggestions and log them together.
Profiles and trips together
Create profiles on the device, then attach people to a trip. If somebody is missing, the trip picker can create their profile without leaving the flow.
My World+ purchases
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account. Use Restore Purchases on the My World+ screen if access does not appear after reinstalling or moving to another device.
Subscription changes and cancellations are managed in your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings.
Back up or erase your record
The You tab includes backup and export options. Keep the resulting file somewhere safe before changing devices. You can also use Delete all my data to remove every local profile and visit.
Reporting a problem
A little detail helps us fix it faster.
Please include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, app build number, what you tapped and what happened. A screenshot is helpful, but remove any travel details you would prefer not to share.
